Aesthetic Laser Center
We are now also offering additional laser treatments in our new Aesthetic Laser Center. The Center houses the latest in laser technology with the Alexandrite and NDyag laser. Our Registered Nurses have over 30 years of combined experience in Plastic Surgery. The Senior laser nurse travels around the country acting as an instructor in laser techniques. The lasers can be used for the reduction of unwanted hair, spider veins on the legs, brown spots of the face and hands, and redness from Rosacea and facial telengiectasis.
Also provided are specialized laser treatments to help skin return to a healthier and youthful appearance. Here we focus on countering the effects of aging from sun exposure, environmental irritants, and the passage of time. The treatments can result in decreasing fine lines or wrinkles, clearing and smoothing the skin for a younger looking appearance. Hair reduction can be accomplished through a series of treatment at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks. The treatments vary due to individual skin types and the type of laser that is used. Our lasers are also used to treat prominent veins especially on the legs. Depending on the size and site of the vein the appearance can be reduced within 1-6 treatments (depending on the size and site). Each laser treatment is typically painless, with only mild discomfort when longer treatment times are required.
